Tasha is committed to leveling the playing field for disadvantaged individuals through advocacy and strategy.
Tasha is a Washington state - based Influencer and community advocate.
She is a multi-beauty queen making history as the first Black recipient of a Global Beauty Award (The “Oscars” of Pageantry).
In 2022, she authored her first book, Choose you, Change your path and Walk in your purpose, sharing about her 3-year healing journey from life traumas.
In 2023, Tasha blended her 22 years of single motherhood, 16 years of nonprofit volunteerism and queen-based experiences to found the #AdvocacyQueen.
Message from Tasha:
"I am overwhelmed with referrals from individuals who are receiving the run around and fighting through red tape just to get help. I provide advocacy at no-cost and CANNOT do this work alone. Upon the receipt of funding, I will hire, train and dispatch advocates to serve more people."
BOARD SECRETARY (Volunteer)
The board secretary is an active conduit for communication between board members. This individual is responsible for proactively collaborating with board members to set up meetings, giving proper notice of any meetings, and promptly distributing materials like agendas and minutes.
BOARD TREASURER (Volunteer)
The treasurer determines an operating budget based on the organization's fiscal year. As chair of the finance committee, the treasurer cooperates with the executive director, board members, and other program heads to create the overall budget, as well as budgets for specific programs or tasks.

AQ advocates for the needs and rights of others. Your role is to strategically navigate our clients through programs, services, and systems. Operating as the "bridge" to get the help they need, the opportunities they deserve and the rights they are owed.
As Executive Assistant to the CEO you will help with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings and any other administrative tasks that help our CEO perform her job.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial actions of Advocacy Queen. You are in charge of tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths/weaknesses in AQ's finances and overseeing all aspects of its financial success.
*You will also perform duties of an Accountant until AQ is able to grow and expand its staffing.
The Director of Human Resource will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
The Intake Specialist is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, and triaging clients' service requests using a prescribed intake process either by email, phone or in person.
The Front Desk is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, receiving and delivering all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, answering all calls and directing as needed.
